Carotid Occlusion Surgery Study(COSS)

This is a randomized trial comparing superficial temporal artery to middle cerebral artery (STA-MCA) bypass in combination with best medical therapy versus medical management alone for rates of recurrent stroke in patients with occlusion of the (internal) carotid artery.
