A recent review of the Plastic Surgery Residency Program by the Residency Review Committee for Plastic Surgery has resulted in the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education granting our program continued full accreditation for five years with no citations. Plastic surgery is a calling to restore the beauty, function, and symmetry that have been taken away by disease, trauma or inborn defects. The breadth of our practice is defined by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, but the true scope is infinite; spanning all ages, body systems and technologies. Residents in plastic and reconstructive surgery learn from their mentors and texts, but must also be students of nature and art.

Saint Louis University Hospital has a proud tradition of educating those who wish to pursue a career in plastic surgery.

Pathways to Plastic Surgery
