
Urology Faculty and Staff
The Division of Urology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine is committed to quality patient care and resident education, with areas of interest that include urologic oncology, pediatric urology, prostate disease, endourology, urodynamics & incontinence, erectile dysfunction and reconstructive urology.
The Urology faculty comprises seven full-time faculty members, seven urologic surgery residents, and five mid-level clinicians, all providing clinical services at Saint Louis University Hospital, SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center, St. John’s Mercy Medical Center and Des Peres Hospital.

| Dr. Micheal Chehval Chief of the Division of Urology Dr. Cheval earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed a residency at the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He is board certified in urologic surgery and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Society of Pediatric Urology, American Urological Association and American Medical Association. |
![]() | Robert Maloney, M.D. As associate clinical professor, Dr. Maloney earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine where he then completed an internship and two residencies, one in general surgery and the other in urology. Board certified in urology, Dr. Maloney is an active member in the American Urological Association. |
![]() | Anand Palagiri, M.D. Dr. Palagiri earned his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis and his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine where he then completed his residency in urologic surgery. Dr. Palagiri completed his pediatric urology fellowship at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital and is an active in the American Urological Association. Dr. Palagiri is Division Director of Pediatric Urology at Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center, Director of the Pediatric Kidney Stone Center and Assistant Professor of Pediatric Urology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. |
