Hosted each year by the Boeing Institute for International Business, the Boeing Distinguished Guest Lecture Series brings leaders from around the world to Saint Louis University's Chaifetz School of Business to share perspectives on international business with SLU students, the region's business leaders and the community.

The 2025 Boeing Distinguished Guest Lecture in International Business is pleased to welcome Emmanuel Koubarakis, the consul general of Greece in Chicago, on Wednesday, Feb. 5. The event is presented by the Boeing Institute of International Business in the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business, and will begin at 6 p.m. with a reception to follow.

About the Speaker

Emmanuel Koubarakis

 Emmanuel Koubarakis has served as the consul general of Greece in Chicago since September 2021. He has been a career diplomat since 2006 and has served in the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Athens, Vienna, New York and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He holds a B.A. in law and an M.A. degree in European law from Panthéon-Sorbonne University in Paris.

The Boeing Institute of International Business hosted the annual Boeing Distinguished Guest Lecture on Thursday, Jan. 24 in the Anheuser-Busch Auditorium at Saint Louis University's Chaifetz School of Business. Szabó facilitated an engaging question and answer session after his lecture, and a reception followed in the Shanahan Atrium.
