Nuclear Medicine Residency Curriculum

Residents in Saint Louis University's School of Medicine nuclear medicine program practice at multiple clinical sites and gain experience in multiple imaging and diagnostic procedures.

Rotations

Nuclear medicine residents rotate through three clinical sites:

Didactics

Lectures are given daily at noon. Each specialty is featured monthly, with additional speakers who include guest lecturers, residents and attending physicians.

Equipment

  • PET/CT (64-slice)
  • Three dual-head gamma cameras
  • One single-head SPECT camera
  • One uptake probe

Procedures

Residents will gain experience with all diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging, non-imaging procedures and a wide range of nuclear medicine therapeutic applications.
